Lane County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm someone is in custody, authorize a release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Please use the responsible public office below for those matters.
Find the Right Lane County Office
Choose the custodian that created or holds the record. The home guide explains the current-custody, released-record, court, and photo-law distinctions in more detail.
Lane County Sheriff's Office and custody
- Central Reception: 125 E. 8th Ave., Room 140, Eugene, OR 97401; 541-682-4150; Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except legal holidays. This is the general sheriff routing point and the office for the in-person, self-warrant status check with identification.
- Dispatch: 541-682-4150, option 1, available 24 hours a day. Dispatch can receive safety information, but does not confirm warrant status.
- Lane County Adult Corrections / Jail Records: 101 W. 5th Ave., Eugene, OR 97401; 541-682-4263. Use this office for current Lane County custody questions and the process for a jail or adult-in-custody record request. The LCSO AIC Viewer is a current-custody search, not a past-lodging archive, and it has no public booking photos.
- LCSO Police Records: 541-682-3775; phone hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Use the LCSO Police Records route for sheriff police reports, citations, and CAD incident logs.
Countywide public-record routing
Countywide Public Records Officer, Office of Legal Counsel: 125 E. 8th Ave., Eugene, OR 97401; 541-682-4442; Lane County public-record request route. This office routes County-held records that are not police or court records. County Counsel is not the custodian for police reports or Lane Circuit Court records, so send those requests to the agency or court that created them.
Published jail-record fees
Lane County lists the following first-four-page adult-in-custody fees: $10 for a comprehensive AIC file, $5 for AIC history or dates of incarceration, $5 for an AIC arrest report, and $7 for a mug-shot profile. Additional copied pages are $0.25 each. Fees, redactions, and whether a particular record can be released should be confirmed with Jail Records before work begins.
Other official lookup paths
- For a court outcome after a booking, use the appropriate court record route. A booked charge is an accusation and is not a conviction.
- For a state-prison custody matter, use the Oregon Department of Corrections Offender Search. It is separate from the Lane County jail system.
- For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. For ICE custody, use the separate ICE Online Detainee Locator System.
- For a municipal arrest or report, start with the responsible city agency: Eugene, Springfield, or Cottage Grove. A city event does not automatically mean that the person is in the county AIC Viewer.
- For the distinction between a warrant check and a public wanted list, see Most Wanted. For reporting about a case, use Crime News & Mugshots as context only and confirm the result through the official custodian or court.
